The date when the credit account was closed.
Definition
Date Closed indicates when a credit account was terminated or closed. This may occur at the consumer's request, by the creditor, or upon payoff. Closed accounts remain on credit reports for varying periods depending on the account status at closure.

- Required when Account Status indicates closed
- Negative accounts remain 7 years from this date
