Amount Past Due: Definition
The total amount currently overdue on an account.
Definition
Amount Past Due represents the total dollar amount that is currently overdue on a credit account. This includes only payments that are beyond their scheduled due dates. The amount should be reported in whole dollars and must be consistent with the Account Status and Payment Rating codes.
Examples
00000 = No past due amount00150 = $150 past due
Usage Notes
- Must be zero if account is current
- Should match the delinquency indicated by Payment Rating
- Report in whole dollars only
