Description
Once a disputed account's investigation is complete, the furnisher should update the Compliance Condition Code so the tradeline no longer reports as in dispute. Leaving a stale dispute flag (for example XB) misrepresents the account's status. Metro2 helps you flag and track which records carry a dispute condition, but the underlying investigation and any required correction remain the furnisher's FCRA obligation, handled through the bureau's dispute channel.
