    The file does not end with a valid trailer record

    Description

    Every Metro 2 file must end with a trailer record that contains control totals for the file. Missing trailer records indicate an incomplete file and will cause the entire submission to be rejected.

    Common Causes

    • File generation terminated early
    • Trailer record not created
    • File truncated during transfer
    • Buffer not flushed at end of write

    How to Fix
