    Description

    The header record must contain a valid Reporter Identification Number assigned by the credit bureaus. This unique identifier associates the file with the registered data furnisher. An invalid or missing reporter ID will cause the entire file to be rejected.

    • Transposed digits in the ID
    • Using an ID not registered with the target bureau
    • ID has been deactivated or changed
