Numeric Field: Definition
A field type that accepts only numbers.
Definition
Numeric fields in Metro 2 can only contain digits 0-9. These fields are right-justified and zero-filled on the left. Numeric fields include amounts, dates, and various codes. Dollar amounts are reported in whole dollars without decimal points.
Usage Notes
- Right-justified, zero-filled on left
- No decimal points in amount fields
- Dates in MMDDYYYY format
