The main segment containing account and primary consumer data.
Definition
The Base Segment is the primary record in Metro 2 that contains all account information and primary consumer identification data. It is 426 characters long and includes fields for account status, balance, payment history, and consumer demographics. Every reported account requires a Base Segment.
