    Metro 2 Integration for RouteOne

Integrate RouteOne, one of the two major auto finance networks connecting dealers to lenders, with Metro2 for credit bureau reporting. RouteOne provides a REST API built on a microservices architecture with OAuth 2.0 authentication, offering endpoints for eContracting, contract creation and validation, document upload, identity verification (IDV), and OFAC compliance checks. RouteOne integrates with over 200 Dealer Service Providers (DSPs) and provides direct access to credit reports from Equifax, Experian, TransUnion, 700Credit, and CoreLogic Credco for pulling consumer credit. However, RouteOne focuses on the credit pull and deal origination side—it does not natively furnish Metro 2 files to credit bureaus. Metro2 fills that gap by taking deal and contract data from RouteOne and converting it to compliant Metro 2 format for reporting.

    How It Works

Metro2 connects to RouteOne's REST API using OAuth 2.0 to pull approved deal data, contract terms, and payment information. The data is mapped to Metro 2 base and J-segments, validated against CDIA standards, and submitted to Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion on your reporting schedule.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Does this report for the dealer or the lender?

Metro2 reports under your furnisher ID. Both dealers and lenders can use this integration to report credit data sourced from RouteOne.

Does RouteOne already report to credit bureaus?

RouteOne provides access to credit bureaus for pulling consumer credit reports (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion, 700Credit, CoreLogic Credco), but it does not furnish Metro 2 tradeline data. Metro2 handles the reporting side.
